Open Process Automation platforms range from entry level Outotec Proscon® Lite to full Outotec Proscon® 2100 NT system. Number of I/O can range from tens to thousands. Products feature full WEB capabilities and integrated historian based on Microsoft SQL Server. This database contains time-based process data collected and calculated at different time levels.
PlantSnap is a tool that uses this data to automatically create user-defined reports as web pages (or as Excel workbooks or hard copies) such as the one shown below. It can also be used as a data retrieval tool as a replacement for other query tools due to its ease of use. Comprehensive Field Bus and client/server OPC connectivity are available. Difficult to tune control loops are easily handled using Proscon® Tuner automatic control loop tuning assistant.
