The Floatex® Attrition Scrubbers are designed for the preparation of mineral, glass and foundry sands, and recycled plastics where scrubbing, polishing, and the breakdown of agglomerated particles are achieved by the particles impinging on each other in a thick, intensely agitated pulp. The opposed turbine-type impellers of differential pitch achieve maximum particle contact in a rubber-lined mild-steel tank. The Attrition Scrubber is manufactured as a single cell for batch operations and a twin cell for continuous operation.
