The HSC development started in 1974. A simple equilibrium routine was developed which calculated the equilibrium composition in the Outokumpu sulfur plant gas line.
Gradually new modules and databases have been added to the software package. The current version 6.0 contains 21 calculation modules and 11 databases. These "What's New" pages gives an idea of the latest development work.
