 The silver electrolysis cells need no special process ventilation. Normal ventilation is sufficient thanks to careful monitoring of the process. The creation of harmful nitrogen oxide fumes during preparation of the electrolyte is a well-known problem. The use of Outotec’s new Silver Nitrate Preparation System avoids the occurence of these fumes.
