These fully automatic systems are designed to accommodate the full range of product from spent butts to full size rodded anodes.
In addition to the design and supply of the Load / Unload Equipment, Outotec specializes in the following:

- Design of signaling, safety and guiding equipment to accommodate the anode transport vehicles
- Design, supply, of the overhead conveyor system integral to the Load / Unload Station
- Layout and design of chutes and conveying systems for handling dumped bath
Spent Anode Rod Aligners
Outotec's Load / Unload Systems incorporate the use of alignment mechanisms to confine the rods of spent anodes and to ensure that they are held vertical prior to engagement with the overhead conveyor system.
The aligners have been designed to accommodate a large degree of offset of the rods caused by possible air burn on the butt or bath sitting in the pallet.
Pallet / Tray Dumping
Systems are designed to dump all residual bath material from the customers pallet or tray prior to loading rodded anodes. Dumping stations incorporate close capture hoods to capture the dust generated during the dumping operation.
