Our drying/preheat equipment incorporate simple but effective gas trains to control the temperature within the burner tunnel. PLC systems can be used to accurately control temperature and to reduce the fire when the product is stationary. This results in more fuel efficiency and cost savings to the smelter.
Stub Drying Equipment is normally installed in combination with Liquid Graphite coating Systems to ensure that the graphite coating is dry prior to casting.
Preheat Systems are often used in colder climates where condensation on the stubs can cause sparking and metal blow back during the casting operation.
